Cooking rice and grits is different from the normal kind of

Pour the dish with grits or rice. Turn the heat on. Heat the dish up, stirring grits of rice. Roast the grits of rice for a while, until it become to produce aromas – about 1 minute. Pour the ingredients with water in water/grits ratio – 3/1 (the actual ratio can change depending on the specific kind of grits or rice). After the normal duration of cooking rice or grits, turn the heat off. The meal will continue cooking, using the energy accumulated in the bottom of the dish.
